MIGUEL CUMMINS
A skiddy fast bowler from Barbados with a front-on action that relies more on shoulder power than any momentum gained through his run-up, Miguel Cummins earned his maiden call-up to the West Indies Test team after taking 33 wickets at 20.69 in the 2015-16 Professional Cricket League. Making his Test debut against India in 2016, he went wicketless for his first 280 balls before taking three in his next ten balls, on his way to a second-innings six-for in his second Test in St Lucia.
Cummins is a regular member of West Indies' Test and ODI squads and his promise has earned him a county contract with Worcestershire towards the end of the 2016 season. He took 15 wickets at 25.13 including match figures of 12 for 166 against Essex.
